Safe Cleaning Products Initiative
WVE's Safe Cleaning Products Initiative is a national effort intended to reduce women's exposure to toxic chemicals in cleaning products.
The Problem
1. Certain chemicals in household cleaners have been linked to asthma and reproductive harm.
2. Manufacturers of cleaning products aren't required to disclose the ingredients in their products, meaning that they're allowed to keep chemicals a secret from consumers.
