Unfortunately, there are some 85,000 chemicals in the consumer marketplace and only a fraction of them have ever been tested for their impact on human health. Many of these chemicals are now known or suspected to contribute to a long list of diseases including cancer, developmental disabilities, heart disease, infertility, reproductive harm, and more.
The good news is that women are convincing major corporations and political decision-makers that we can and should do better.
