Lawsuit Seeks Disclosure of Cleanser Ingredients

A coalition of environmental groups announced plans today to sue four manufacturers of household cleaners for failing to disclose the ingredients in their products, under a little-known regulation in New York state.
The groups say such disclosures are critical to understanding the effects of cleaning products on human health and the environment and are required under a New York state regulation.
